IUPUC Campus Plans & Improvements
Mr. Curtin served as owners represenative, project manager, and landscape architect for this project. The multifaceted project was to give IUPUC a feel and look of a conventional college campus. This was accomplished by creating areas for the students to gather, creation of the sculpture garden, installation of a fountain focal point and the installation of an iconic sculpture to identify the main entrance of the campus as well as ultimately tying the campus into the People Trail system. For the sculpture, Mr. Curtin facilitated the sculpture selection and conceptual design. Mr. Curtin worked with the administration of IUPUC, their staff, the Architects office of IU, the donors for the project elements and the contractors for the projects. In the time since the projects have been installed the IUPUC student body has grown and frequently the design elements have been used in promotional material for the campus.
